Testimonials:

“I took the Breast Feeding Basics course online (www.breastfeedingbasics.org) over the summer of 2012 to prepare for my birth and postpartum doula training in the Fall. The online course was very informative, but was time consuming, detail heavy and each module was quite long. I found it very dense and although I originally thought it was the better option for me because it was free and I could complete it on my own time, I much preferred the training with Timea. I found I got overwhelmed with the online course and felt panicked that I needed to learn so much. With Timea’s class I learned breast milk composition, myths about breastfeeding and formula feeding, correct ways to position baby and support mother with latching etc. All the information in Timea’s class was discussed in a comfortable, relaxed and informative setting that allowed me to feel confident and comfortable with the skills she was teaching. During the class we also talked about our personal stories and experiences which really enhanced the learning. I would highly recommend this class to anyone and it is well worth the time and money.”
Tasha B.

“The workshop was very informative and interesting. The informal atmosphere made it comfortable and easy to ask questions and share info.”
Sandra M.

“The workshop exceeded my expectation. I enjoyed the frank and honest discussions and hands-on demonstration”.
Mandy P.

“I liked most Timea’s knowledge and experience. The perfect spark to start my journey as a doula that will truly help breastfeeding women”.
Annie. L.

“The workshop was very informative, and lots of topics. I loved Timea the best, she was extremely knowledgeable and had a lot of personal experiences to share. Loved the hands on techniques”.
Ashley. L.

“Everything was very informative. A wonderful session. Great info delivered in a clear, interesting way. Thank you”.

This is a workshop for those who wish to know more.
It is more clinical and more in-depth than any breastfeeding basic class and the Breastfeeding 101 Workshop.

There is no obligation to take this workshop after Breastfeeding 101. When I wrote this curriculum I have not altered, removed or made changes to the Breastfeeding 101 workshop’s curriculum. My sole reason to create and write this workshop is because of all the requests from participants who have attended my Breastfeeding 101 workshop over the years wanting to learn and know more. This workshop will provide you with that extra knowledge.
